The Rake’s Progress According to Barbara Hannigan

Igor Stravinsky’s neoclassical opera from 1951 is a moral tale about the rise and fall of a young man. The Canadian opera singer and conductor Barbara Hannigan led this semi-staged production with the Swedish Chamber Orchestra, the Radio Choir, and soloists from the international mentorship initiative Equilibrium Young Artists. The concert was a remarkable event, showcasing the talents of all involved.

The concert was performed at:

  • Örebro Concert Hall, Friday, February 2 at 19:00
  • Berwaldhallen, Sunday, February 4 at 15:00
  • Koelner Philharmonie, Cologne, Germany – Wednesday, February 7 at 19:00
